Content License Agreement

Overview: Ownership, Rights, and Community Permissions

This Content License Agreement ("License") governs the intellectual property rights, licenses, and permissions applicable when you upload, post, stream, submit, or otherwise transmit user-generated content to Witch Voices™ ("the Platform," "we," "us," or "our").

This agreement is designed to preserve your creative ownership while granting Witch Voices™ the necessary legal protections to host, distribute, display, format, and maintain the continuity of the community archive.

1. Definitions

• "User Content": Any text, articles, forum discussions, comments, poems, spells, rituals, audio recordings, podcasts, music, digital art, illustrations, photographs, video streams, or multimedia files submitted to the Platform by a user.
• "Platform": WitchVoices.com, its subdomains, mobile applications, API endpoints, feeds, and associated web services.

2. You Retain Ownership

You keep full copyright and ownership of everything you create. Witch Voices™ does not claim title, ownership, or exclusive rights to your original works.

You remain free to:

• Publish or syndicate your Content across external platforms (e.g., YouTube, TikTok, Substack, personal blogs).
• Monetize, license, or publish your Content commercially elsewhere.
• Remove individual posts or assets in accordance with Section 6 of this License.

3. License Granted to Witch Voices™

By posting, uploading, or submitting User Content to the Platform, you grant Witch Voices™ a non-exclusive, perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, fully paid-up, transferable, and sublicensable license to:

• Host, store, cache, reproduce, index, backup, archive, and display your Content across our infrastructure.
• Transmit, distribute, and publicly perform or exhibit your Content across web browsers, RSS feeds, search indexes, and mobile devices.
• Format, transcode, adapt, resize, and reconfigure your Content purely for technical and display functionality (e.g., creating mobile responsive layouts, video streaming encodes, or automated image thumbnails).
• Syndicate, highlight, or feature your Content within the Platform's community hubs, newsletters, or internal featured articles.

Commercial Exclusions: This license does NOT grant Witch Voices™ the right to compile your works into printed books, sell your individual content to third parties, claim original authorship, or manufacture commercial merchandise bearing your distinct creative work without your express written consent.

4. Waiver of Moral Rights

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, you waive and agree never to assert any "moral rights" (such as rights of attribution, integrity, disclosure, or withdrawal) or similar rights against Witch Voices™, its operators, or licensees arising from necessary technical alterations, formatting, cropping, transcoding, or standard community moderation actions.

5. Limited License to Community Users

By sharing User Content in publicly accessible sections of the Platform, you grant every other user of Witch Voices™ a non-exclusive, personal, non-commercial, revocable license to access, view, read, and stream your Content through the Platform's native interfaces for personal study, spiritual exploration, and community discussion.

6. Content Removal, Account Deletion, and Archive Continuity

6.1 Deletion by User

You may remove individual posts, comments, or media through your account settings. However, you acknowledge that cached previews, search engine indexes, or operational server backups may persist temporarily following removal.

6.2 Account Closure and Orphaned Content

If you choose to delete your account, your personal identifying records (such as your login credentials, email, and ZIP code) will be purged or permanently disassociated from your account.

To protect community thread continuity, prevent broken comment chains, and maintain educational archives, public forum threads, published community articles, and comments may remain hosted on the Platform, displayed anonymously or attributed to a generic deleted user pseudonym. The broad license granted in Section 3 survives account deactivation or deletion.

7. User Warranties & Non-Infringement

By posting Content, you expressly represent and warrant that:

• You are the sole creator and copyright holder of the work, or you possess verifiable written license, release, or fair-use authority to upload it.
• Your Content does not infringe upon, misappropriate, or violate any third-party copyright, trademark, trade secret, right of privacy, or right of publicity.
• Your Content does not violate any criminal laws, state statutes, or court orders.

You assume full personal liability for claims, losses, or legal defense costs resulting from your upload of unauthorized or infringing materials.

8. Platform Reservation of Rights

Witch Voices™ reserves the unilateral right, but assumes no ongoing affirmative obligation, to:

• Screen, review, flag, reclassify, or decline any submitted Content prior to or following publication.
• Expeditiously remove or disable access to any Content subject to a Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) notice or legal subpoena.
• Archive, preserve, or disclose Content if legally compelled by valid subpoena, court order, or governmental demand.

9. Feedback and Feature Submissions

If you provide suggestions, feedback, ideas, bug reports, or proposals regarding the Platform ("Feedback") to Witch Voices™, you agree that such Feedback is entirely voluntary and non-confidential. Witch Voices™ shall own all rights, title, and interest in and to the Feedback and may freely implement, develop, and commercialize such Feedback without any compensation, attribution, or accounting to you.

10. No Royalty or Monetary Compensation

You understand and acknowledge that participation in Witch Voices™ is voluntary. No royalties, license fees, rev-shares, or monetary compensation shall be paid for your submissions, articles, posts, or media hosted on the Platform.
